Jordana Twist and shine balm stains review

Hello Ladies and gents,

Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas/holiday!
SO excited because I have been trying some new products lately especially makeup of course hehehe.

Anyways.... I took a trip to my favorite store Walgreen's ;-) and decided to pick up some products and I couldn't pass buy the Jordana section. I have been noticing a lot of great reviews over the Jordana Twist and shine lip balm stains. I figured I would give them a shot since I have seen them a lot especially on my fellow IGers.

I picked up 2 colors Nude Chic and Terra Crave let me just say when I applied I was very impressed. I really loved the Terra Crave shade it has a mauve tone to it and a nice sheen glides on super smoothly and the shade is very true to color. The staying power is decent obviously it's not 24 hrs but it did stay on for a good amount of time and it did stain my lips. The Nude Chic was my least favorite reason being is because it had some chunks of shimmer or glitter however you want to call it. Some may like that however I do not because it felt grainy on my lips..EWW lol also the shade was too light for me it looked like I was a 80's reject girl ha ha. It did not stain the lips at all as the shade is way to light. I did mix it with Terra Crave and it looked quite lovely when mixed. Overall I am satisfied that I purchased the balm stains specifically the Terra Crave. I would buy the rest of the shades to try out and see what colors are a hit and miss for me. I would give this product a 3 out of 5 stars. I hope you enjoyed this review!

Profusion Bare Palette review

Hello lovelies!

So sorry I have been gone away for so so long. I hope everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving! So I wanted to do a quick review for you peeps on the Profusion Bare palette. I purchased it at my local Walgreens store for 5 dollars. When I first saw it I said oh cheetah print and when I looked inside it had a ton of neutral colors which are my fav! Anyways when I first swatched them I was pretty impressed for 5 bucks it was decent. This palette ranges from mattes to shimmers there are lighter shades and medium shades like Carmel and taupes even gold and copper. The colors are very nice. The lighter matte colors are not that great in this palette they are powdery and fade. As far as the shades that are darker matte/shimmer tend to have way more pigmentation and also blend like a dream. I really enjoy those the most they are very pretty. This palette wasn't a wow for me it's alright I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase it because it isn't a Must HAVE! purchased it because I wanted to try it. I would give this 3 out of 5 stars. I think wet n wild makes the best drugstore shadows. Again my opinion ;) have a wonderful day loves xoxo.

L.A. Colors Pro Gel Top Coat

Hello My loves!

Hope you guys have been having a wonderful couple of weeks! Can't believe it's almost the end of October time is just flying! So anyways I wanted to do a review on the L.A. Colors gel top coat. I purchased this a few weeks ago at Walmart for about 1.50. I have been looking for a top coat that was similar to gel but for a good price. So when I saw this I was like ohhhh SNAG!!!

The consistency is that of a gel it is on the thicker side yet smooth enough of a formula to glide onto the nail. It also drys super fast and leaves your nails with a beautiful shine. I tried it out with different nail polishes also putting it to the test by doing dishes, laundry, and cleaning toilets ;-) (aka mom duties!) haha. Anyways I noticed my nail polish did not chip it stayed in place and started to slightly chip after day 4 which for me is not that bad. I usually chip a day or two after also I have been very rough on my nails with all the water etc. Overall I am very satisfied with this product to me its better than the Sally Hansen instadry top coat. I would say 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Hope y'all enjoyed this review!

Maybelline fall collection lipstick

Hello ladies and gents!

So a few weeks ago I finally got my hands on the maybelline fall collection lipsticks now there are 3 in total but I purchased the 2 I thought I would get more use out of. It was buy one get one 50% so I deff. Took advantage lol.

My thoughts?
For the price of the lipstick and the fact it's drugstore brand it's not bad at all. I love both colors they are perfect for fall and are pretty pigmented for drugstore brand. The lavendar voltage is a nice purple shade it's a nice deep lavendar color very pretty color and goes on smoothly. I would say for both lipsticks you would need to apply more than once to get the intensity of the color desired. The midnight plum is beautiful as well however it needs to be applied more than once or twice at least for me. It's a deep plum almost looks black at first but you can see the shades of purple in there. The staying power for these are decent I honestly feel like the vivids stay on way longer. Yet again these lippies are not matte they are more on the sheen side that's probobly why they don't stay as long. Over all I would rate these lippies a 3.5 out of 5 stars!

Loreal magic nude foundation & NYX HD photogenic powder review

Hello ladies and gents,

So I wanted to talk I you guys about 2 drugstore products I purchased. Loreal magic nude foundation and NYX HD powder. About 2 weeks ago I posted a video on my youtube giving my first impression. I really like.. actually LOVE! both products. The foundation applys so smoothly onto my face also it is easy to blend. I consider this foundation to be a medium coverage and can be build able however since it does have a powder finish afterwards it might look too cakey. The only downside to this product is the packaging. The reason for that being is I feel like it's less sanitary I prefer a pump it's easier and more hygienic. The foundation looks good without powder but Since I combo skin I would need a powder to put on top. I do prefer a more matte look to my face. The NYX HD photogenic powder is amazing! It's the best powder I have every used or bought. I have combination skin it's oily during the summer and dry in certain spots during the winter (I know super weird) but this powder has done wonders. A little goes a long way! I apply it with a powder brush and boom I'm all set. It leaves my face feeling even and smooth. It sets my foundation without making it look cakey or dry. The lasting power of this product is great I use it ALL day and there is no need to reapply. My one con to this is the packaging it has a sifter which is fine but basically all the powder comes out instead of a little at a time. I prefer a powder that has a stopper on top so that way you can dispense the amount of product you want. Other than that the powder itself is amazing!

I'm still here❤️

Wet N' Wld swatches and review

Hello Ladies and gents!

It's been a while since I did a blog post but I am back on my game trying to update you all weekly. So I splurged over the weekend and I actually purchased some great makeup products majorit are drug stores and others are more high end. The first set of products I wanted to show you are the Wet N' Wild lippies. The first one is with flash the other is without. These colors are super pigmented and are creamy perfect for girls with often dry lips like me (ughh wicked annoying) So from top to bottom the first shade is Mocha-licious, Cherry bomb, Stoplight red. These shades are gorgeous I love the pigmentation as well they are great for only $1.29. I mean who can beat that?

Here is another W&W product their trio pallete eyeshadow in "Knock on wood"
Super pretty and pigmented and very affordable. I must say though I am not a fan on the browbone color it is too glittery for me and its powdery. But other than that the other shades are gorgeous especially for the fall season ;-) I took the picture with and without flash!

Overall I am very Satisfied with the products that I purchased from Wet N' Wild they never seem to disappoint me. Like I mentioned their eyeshadows are usually super pigmented and last all day without creasing. Also who could beat the price? Hello girl I am all up on THAT!

Well this is all for now ladies and please do not forget to view my youtube channel! I do have some new vids up.

Jumbo Pencils

Love Love Loveeeee these jumbo pencils!!! I purchased them at ULTA the first four are NYX pencils and the purple is from Rimmel. I adore all these pencils they are super pigmented and are great to use as bases you could use them on their own but I always pack and eyeshadow on top. These have not creased on me except for when I do not use a primer. I would personally use them as bases instead of by themselves. They go on smooth and are easy to manipulate with a brush. They are a great price and convenient for when traveling ;-) overall I love them!

Hair one- Hair cleanser and conditioner

Hey ya'll here with another review purchased this product 2 weeks ago...

My thoughts?

At first I got a sample and loved it! This contains argan oil so it is very moisturizing and adds shine. I appreciate the fact that they offer this product for different hair types so I feel like it is more personalized for all types. This is also compared to Wen it is not like a regular shampoo it does not create suds or bubbles yet it cleanses the hair and scalp better than a shampoo. It has a minty scent so I can feel it deep cleaning my scalp and does not give me dandruff if anything it got rid of it LOL. When my hair dries it's shinier than it has ever been and it is also so smooth and silky. You can also leave this on the ends for extra moisture. I would highly recommend this product it's amazing!

24 HR Color Tattoo-Tough as taupe

Hey ladies so I purchased this color tattoo in tough as taupe it's a grey/taupe color. I have purchased some other colors last year like bad to the bronze and painted purple. They just came out with more colors like gold and silver etc.

My thoughts?

I highly recommend these color tattoos because they are super pigmented and true to the color. You can use them alone or with and eyeshadow on top. The staying power is great and for me it really worked 24 hours. They are compared to MAC paint pots as well so if you wanted to go a cheaper route you could go for one of these. The product applies smoothly on the lid and can me blended with your finger or a brush. I am satisfied with this product and I want to get some of the new colors and experiment with them. Have any of you tried the new colors? what are your thoughts?

Vidal Sassoon Pro Series-Repair mask & Mousse

Helloooo everyone I know I haven't blogged in a bit I have been taking a break from my blog I do apologize. I have some new products I'll be reviewing and posting soon. Anywaysssss I was shopping at one of my favorite stores Target of course ;-) when I stumbled upon a section of Vidal Sassoon products. I was super excited and they are a reasonable price so of course I had to try something lol.

I purchased the Repair One Minute Mask and the Extra Hold Mousse. I wanted to try the mask first and have been using it for a few days now and I have been liking it so far I love that it isn't greasy it washes out nicely and also leaves my ends smooth and silky. I leave it on for a minute then use wide tooth comb or my fingers and rinse it out. It also smells AMAZINGGGG my husband likes the smell too lol. When my hair was finally dried that's when I noticed the difference in the texture and how my hair looked. Its shiny and soft. Since I do have color treated hair this definitely does the trick. Is it my favorite product? kinda hard to tell since I am still in LOVE with the As I am Coconut CoWash cleansing conditioner but So far I am happy with this product and would recommend it!

As for the mousse I love the smell and the way it enhances my curls. It also adds great volume and hold. I have always used Sammy curls mousse but wanted to try this to change things up a bit. I can say that I would try this mousse again as it does add a nice shine as well and fights against humidity. Like I mentioned the hold is excellent in this product I feel like I could use this and my hair will last all night. Both of these products are pretty good and were only $3.24 USD plus tax not bad for salon inspired products! :D

Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection- Lipstick

My thoughts?

Loving this lipstick Fergie signed with Wet n Wild around last year when she came out with some nail polishes. Now with a new year comes new products and these matte lipsticks are great! The colors are super pigmented from pinks and wines to nudes this is by far my favorite. It's called Fergie Daily a nude shade that can be used with a smokey eye or even with a simple everyday look. I would recommend this lipstick and checking out the rest of this collection ;-)

New Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick

My thoughts?

Obsessed with this crayon lol I purchased this eye shadow stick last week and I have been using it just about everyday. The color  is 003 Bad Girl Bronze it is 24 hour and waterproof. They have 2 other colors as well which I will be purchasing lol

I have tested it out without a primer and it's very pigmented applies smoothlyy and does not crease. I used it with a primer and it had the same affect it stayed put. I also like the fact that I can smudge it and create a smokey eye, I also experimented by putting an eyeshadow on top to make the color pop even more. Overall I would recommend this eyeshadow stick to y'all divas the color is fab! the staying power is great and it's pretty much waterproof until I use an oil based makeup remover. So go get it and tell me what you think ;-)

Wet n Wild New Mega Last Liquid Lip Color

My Thoughts?

Sooo ladies I purchased these lip colors yesterday Wet n Wild has just came out with some new products for 2013 they have a variety of new makeup. From foundations to powders new shades of lipsticks to the Fergie line they have a good selection to experiment with.  The colors I purchased from left to right I can bare it, High-pitched wine, and Back to the Fuchsia.

I must say these liquid lip colors hold true to the word "mega last" when applied it starts to dry and it's like a tattoo on your lips. I swatched in on my hand and it immediately started to dry I washed my hands and I still couldn't get it off so the did a great job in that aspect. The colors are beautiful and super pigmented however for me personally I am not a fan of this product because of how it feels on my lips. They feel dry (chapped) and sticky at the same time it's weird. I would not purchase these again because of the consistency and how it feels on my lips. What I did do was add a gloss on top and it actually looked nice I am still going to experiment with them and try to give it a second change but until then not a huge fan of these.

Too Faced In Your Dreams palette

My thoughts?

Obsessed with this palette it has wonderful colors that can be used for an everyday look or even a night out! The blushes and shadows are super pigmented I love the fact the palette comes with directions for each look. Not a huge fan of the lip glosses so I could care less about them. I purchased this palette before Christmas at TJ Max for $20 bucks it was on clearance. Not sure why especially if it's Too faced and we all know those palettes are pricey. Needless to say this one was meant to be purchased by me ;-)

The picture on the top left are the blushes from left to right -Wanna play?, Girly show and, You hold the key.

The lip glosses below the blushes from left to right- Give it up, Pink ice, and Heart On.

The first row of eye shadows from left to right Natural Beauty- Silk stockings, La Cage, and Rapture

Second row left to right Feminine Flirty- Pink Peacock, Swings, and Fishnet

Third row left to right Seductively Smokey- Full Moon, Dream on, and Seduce

L'oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner- Blackest black

My thoughts?

So far so good I purchased this liner a few days ago I was using ELF liquid liner but wanted to start using a gel/cream liner so I took a trip to Walgreens. I love L'oreal products and have never had a problem with any of the items I have purchased so this was a great buy. I love the texture and how smooth this product applies on the lid it comes with a brush as shown above in the picture. The brush is pretty good it gives me the perfect cat eye! My liner stayed on all day it does not crease or smudge and it doesn't flake it stays put like it should. So ladies If you are looking for a great cream liner for a great price I would highly recommend this one!

Cynthia Rowley Precision Blending Sponge

My thoughts?

I love this sponge!!

Now I am sure we have all heard about the Beauty Blender sponge but this is the alternative "cheaper" version. I never have been a fan of sponges because the absorb all the makeup so I have always used a brush or even my fingers to apply foundation and concealer. Since I received this sponge as a Christmas gift from my sisters I haven't picked up my brushes. This sponge is multi-functional and gives you an airbrushed look. You can use this sponge to apply your foundation, concealer, primer etc. without absorbing any of the product. The key is to wet the sponge squeeze the excess water and use it when damp. Just "bounce" the sponge with the product on your face, it's that simple! Once you are finished you clean it with warm water and dry it with a towel. I have not used the beauty blender but at the end of the day it gives you the same look but with half the price ;-)

So try it out ladies and tell me what you think!

Color Sensational Vivids review

Color Sensational Vivids by Maybelline

What I think?

I definitely am lover of this new line that Maybelline came out with. Very impressed on the quality and how highly pigmented these colors are. The two colors I purchased were Vivid Rose and Brazen Berry. I tried both on my lips the top one is Vivid Rose and the bottom is Brazen Berry. They have a nice variety of bold colors from pinks to corals and even red! I plan on purchasing them all LOL!

Consistency- These to me are a cream sheen type of lipstick it's moisturizing and gives a nice shine. It reminds me of the Revlon lip stains because the glide on and the color intensity is amazing. I would recommend these colors to my bold divas ;-)

2012 favs and some Christmas gifts!
